Virtual Teaching Can Be Challenging

Most teachers didn't train to be virtual teachers. But most teachers also didn't ask for a global pandemic to happen. However, just because virtual teaching may be different, doesn't mean every teacher can't be successful at it.

Teacher and author Trevor Muir, shares tested ideas, tools, and processes to thrive while leading a virtual classroom. From how to set up dynamic virtual meetings to how to create engaging virtual curriculums, every teacher can find new ways to thrive in the virtual classroom.

Have you asked any of these questions lately?

How do I get students to show up for virtual meetings?

How do I manage all of the extra grading?

Is it possible to get students to actually open up in virtual meetings?

Does everything I assign have to be busy-work?

What tools and technology should I use and what is a waste of time?

How do I build relationships with students without a physical classroom?

Can I really take care of my students and myself right now?

You’re not alone. Teachers around the world are asking these same questions as they try to find new ways to be successful in this new teaching environment.

These are the questions we are going to answer in this course.

The course is made up of 8 modules, each containing videos, resources, and activities to walk through these subjects and more. In a personal and relatable way, Trevor shares tested ways to engage students, manage time, communicate with parents, and actually thrive in a virtual classroom.
